“This is an exciting book to read! What an impact this book will make. It is an important book, and I consider participating in it a great privilege. The book is an open plea to return to an authentic relational fellowship with God, the originator of relationships and the best authority to provide the basis for our relationship with him and other humans. The author enjoins us to pursue and cultivate a covenant relationship with God and to have and cultivate authentic Christian fellowships. Disobedience is inexcusable in the sight of a Holy God. It is absurd to mix holiness and unholiness because light and darkness can have no fellowship with each other. This book shows what authentic, genuine, and healthy fellowship should look like. God’s holiness symbolizes perfection, justice, and incredible love and connotes praiseworthiness. God’s holiness and sovereignty allow for human free will, freedom of choice, and mutual responsibility so that God may be just in demanding accountability for all human actions, preferences, and behaviors. It is the individual’s responsibility to sit down and count the cost to answer the high calling to wholeheartedly follow Jesus Christ, with patient endurance and obedient faith, forsaking all.
